Jaime Ritton’s practice focuses on a wide range of commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining DKM Law Group, Jaime worked in various areas of the law, including insurance, IP law, antitrust, and financial civil litigation. She has experience working cases from start to finish, including motion practice, trials, and enforcing of judgments.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees from University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Rhetoric and Japanese. Jaime’s degree in Japanese received honors by writing an Honors thesis and translating a passage from pre-modern Japanese into English.
Jaime earned her Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University College of Law, graduating in the top 10% of her class and receiving the honor of becoming a member of the Order of the Coif.
She earned numerous awards, including the top CALI awards in Federal Code of Civil Procedure II, Commercial Law / Advanced Contract Seminar, Insurance, and Evidence. In addition to her studies, Jaime was a part of the West Virginia Law Review, and was part of the Executive Board for Volume 115. Jaime also participated in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition, where the appellate briefs won the Second Best Briefs in 2012 and Seventh Best Briefs in 2013. Her team were also semifinalists in 2013. She also participated in the Law Student National Representation in Mediation Competition in 2012 and 2013, and was the Northeast Regional Winner and Seventh in the Nation in 2013.
